Congressional Fellowship Program |
PSA’s Congressional Fellowship Program is aimed at providing young Congressional staffers with the skills and relationships necessary to foster true bipartisan understanding and cooperation on Capitol Hill. Over the course of the program, staffers have the opportunity to build their professional skill set, hold substantive discussions with high-ranking officials, and form strong personal relationships with staffers from both the House and Senate. By investing in emerging leaders from both sides of the aisle, PSA hopes to reduce destructive partisanship in the foreign policy decision-making process long into the future.
Praise for the Partnership for a Secure America Fellowship Program policy depended on leaders who forged close friendships across party lines. PSA's Congressional Fellowship Program creates opportunities for young Democrats and Republicans to learn about important policy issues in an atmosphere conducive to building mutual trust, respect and even friendship."
