CPP Dinner Discussion with Garrett Grigsby

Tuesday, October 15th – This dinner discussion featured Garrett Grigsby. Mr. Grigsby has served as Director of the Office of Global Affairs since May 2017. He served on the staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations (SFRC) throughout the 1990s. As SFRC Deputy Staff Director he was responsible for oversight of all U.S. Government foreign assistance programs, including global health initiatives. Mr. Grigsby joined the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in 2002 as Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance where he oversaw global disaster relief and humanitarian programs. In 2005, he was appointed Director of USAID’s Center of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. From 2006-2014, Mr. Grigsby consulted for U.S. non-profits to support their global health work. From 2014 until joining HHS Mr. Grigsby served as Executive Director of Christian Connections for International Health, an association of non-profits focused on promoting global health and wellness. This event was moderated by PSA’s Curt Silvers.
