Washington, DC — Partnership for a Secure America (PSA) proudly announces the appointment of Nathan Sermonis as its new Executive Director. Mr. Sermonis had served as PSA’s Deputy Executive Director since 2013, and has been with PSA since 2011.
Prior to working at PSA, Nathan served as a policy adviser in the U.S. House of Representatives, congressional campaign aide, and journalist. He has over a decade of experience in non-profit management and entrepreneurial leadership, with an accomplished background in politics, foreign affairs, and energy issues.
Mr. Sermonis most recently oversaw program development and operations in pursuit of PSA’s mission to advance bipartisan approaches to U.S. national security and foreign policy challenges. Nathan has worked largely on PSA’s Capitol Hill programming and efforts relating to international conflict resolution and energy security. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University.
Dr. Andrew K. Semmel, PSA’s former Executive Director, has recently been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dr. Semmel will lead the organization’s Board-level development and initiatives. PSA is grateful for Dr. Semmel’s continued dedication and leadership.
